An inspector that is part of a group is more likely to have a sense of accountability and is typically held to a higher standard by the group. They are also required to maintain a certain amount of continuing education hours throughout the year to maintain their membership. This means they are up to date on changes in the FBC (Florida Building Code) and are current on all standards of practice.
